Often calling themselves “crisis pregnancy centers”, they deceive and shame Floridians seeking reproductive healthcare including abortions. And today, they outnumber legitimate reproductive healthcare facilities.
Pro-Truth Florida is part of a growing network of state programs seeking to raise awareness of the misleading and disingenuous tactics of these so-called health clinics.
We believe that all people have the right to access to quality healthcare, the right to make informed decisions about their own body and the right to know the truth about the providers from whom they seek care.

In fact, it is protected by the Florida State Constitution in SECTION 23. Right of privacy.—Every natural person has the right to be let alone and free from governmental intrusion into the person’s private life except as otherwise provided herein. This section shall not be construed to limit the public’s right of access to public records and meetings as provided by law.

Pro-Truth Florida works closely with the Floridians for Reproductive Freedom Coalition in not only in exposing anti-abortion pregnancy centers, but in all aspects of reproductive justice. The Greater Miami Section of NCJW has a 100 year history of standing up for reproductive rights and freedoms. Every day, anti-abortion pregnancy centers create an experience opposite to what a pregnant person deciding on their healthcare needs. Fueled by staunch anti-abortion agendas they give free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds to persuade pregnant people to carry the pregnancy to term. They use shaming tactics and tell medical lies in order to fulfill their reason to exist – to talk people out of abortions.
